Armani


Giorgio Armani (78) is an Italian fashion designer, who was announced as the most successful designer from Italy. Giorgio Armani has made a major contribution to both the model business ( he was the first, who prohibited hiring models with a body mass index under 18) and fashion on the Internet (he was the first, who broadcasted haute couture live on the Internet, 2007). He has also created many stage outfits for Lady Gaga. Nowadays he owns seven labels, based on his name: Giorgio Armani S.p.A, Armani Collozioni, Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, Armani Exchange, Armani Junior, Armani Casa.


Fendi 


Karl Lagerfeld (79) is a German fashion designer and a photographer. Karl Lagerfeld has been working as the creative director in Fendi since 1927. However, the fashion house itself was launched by Edoardo and Adele Fendi in 1925, as a leather goods shop and fur worshop in Rome for the middle class. Today the house is owned by LVMH.

Dolce & Gabbana

Domenico Dolce (54) and Stefano Gabbana (50) are Italian designers, who have been working together since their first collection of knitted-wears in 1987. At the same time they opened the first shop under Dolce & Gabbana label in Milano. In 1990 they launched the first male collection. In addition to it since 2006 Dolce & Gabbana create sport clothes for the Italian national football team.    

Gucci

Frida Giannini (41) is an Italian fashion designer. She has gotten great experience in Fendi as a designer of ready-to-wear, in Tom Ford as a designer of women's accessories, and in Gucci a designer of handbags. In 2006 Giannini received promotion to head the entire Gucci label.


Missoni

Missoni is an Italian fashion house, which has been run by the same family Missoni since the company was founded by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni in 1953. Today the main people in the company are the second generation of the family. Angela Missoni is responsible for the woman's label, Luca Missoni stands behind the menswear collection and Missoni Sport, Vittorio Missoni was the company's marketing director until January 2013 (died in a airplane crash).  


Prada

Miuccia Prada (62) is an Italian fashion designer, the youngest granddaughter of Mario Prada, founder of the company. Before to start working in the company she received a Ph.D in Political Scince, and studied and perform as mime, she also participated in the Communist party and fought for women's rights. In 1992 she launched another company Miu Miu, which was introduced as a less expensive women clothes, based on her own personal wardrobe and nickname.  


Emilio Pucci


Peter Dundas is a Norwegian fashion designer. He began his career as  the design assistant  to Jean Paul Gautier in 1992. After Gautier he moved to Christian Lacroix, and then to Roberto Cavalli, where he stayed until 2005. Right after it he was announced the creative director at Emanuel Ungaro. In 2008 Dundas became the artistic director of Emilio Pucci.         


Gianni Versace S.p.A.


Donatella Versace (58) is an Italian Fashion designer and Vice-President of the Versace Group. Thanks to Donatella the Versace label began to spread to Europe and most stated of America. In addition to her work at Versace, she launched her own perfume, Versace Woman, and trying to develop Versus.
