The leading Russian designer - A. Terekhov

Alexander Terekhov is the leading designer in Russia today. He is the only one designer from Russia who has been participating in New York Fashion Week since 2006. After Terekhov had graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fashion & Design he began training at Fashion House Yves Saint Laurent. 

In 2004 Alexander Terekhov established his own brand, "Alexandr Terekhov". In 2006 he was announced as one of the country's top ten designers in "International Textile". In addition to it, he was selected as one of ten emerging designers by "UPS Delivering Fashion's Future". 

His design is well-known for using minimalism and expensive fabrics. The main feature of the brand is dress. Terekhov focuses on different types of dress: classic, cocktail, casual, and so on. The dresses are associated with something soft, simple, but at the same time with chic. His dresses were worn by such celebrities as Angelina Jolie, Celine Dion, and Mischa Barton. 

His dresses and skirts are so elegant, graceful and feminine that women wearing his pieces look like ladies. Unfortunately, you can buy his pieces only in two stores, which are located in Moscow. 

I think Miroslava Duma has played a role for getting  such a great recognition. You could see Miroslava wearing his dresses, coats, skirts in different pictures published in most famous fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle, and so on.
