Nordic Jewellery

One of the main ideas of our blog is to represent cultural and creative moments of our lives.  We want to show that not only clothes make a girl attractive, but also knowledge and interest in cultural aspects of the modern life are very important. We will tell you about interesting places both in Oslo and other cities where we find ourselves. Just put a nice outfit on and get to be enlightened.

The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Oslo represents a contemporary exhibition “From the Coolest Corner: Nordic Jewellery”. The main aims of the exhibition are to present the modern Nordic Jewellery and to strength Nordic jewellery’s position in international arena. Artists from six countries (Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Norway, Finland, and Sweden) show their jewelleries.

It was quite interesting to look at the Scandinavian conception of the modern jewellery. Honestly, there were some very strange items, idea of which was very difficult to understand, and some of them were very nice.
