Since the advent of color, black & white mass media often connotes something "nostalgic" and "historic". Starting from 1960s, few mainstream videos have been shot entirely in black & white. The reasons are frequently commercial. However, whether one would like to admit it or not, the greatest videos in the history have been made in breathtaking anti-color of black & white.
