More and more of blue

Blue color and warm weather is a nice combo ;) I just want to remind you some interesting moments from 'color language'. Blue color has a vast meaning. Blue color is symbol of wisdom, truth, trust, calmness, openness, stability, and peace. According to studies, blue is considered as a masculine color. If you feel very self-esteemed and have strong consciousness, wear blue ;)

I think in my case, the blue outfit says about calmness, openness, stability, and peace. Walking in parks with a good company gives me only positive energy!

I like blue color in my Instagram pictures, there are three of them which might give you some inspiration ;)

It is everything about scarf ;)

What can be more boring than black jeans with a white top?! It is definitely so classy and so universal, that sometimes one wants to embellish it with some bright spots. For me such bright spots might be scarves. Honestly scarves is my passion. I keep the black jeans with the white top and change only accessories, in this case scarves ;)

There are so many different and colorful scarves that one may change them depending on the mood, weather, occasion, and so on. There is only one important thing that you should always remember is to use your imagination. Andy Warhol always said: "Everybody must have a fantasy"!

Perfect COS Vol.2

Each time  I wear pieces of clothes from COS, I like them more and more. Honestly, the quality is so nice and soft. Good quality and affordable prices is a perfect combo;)

So I wear shirt, scarf and purse, which are from COS.

My another passion is scarfs! By the way, while I was being taken pictures it was +30C. So despite the hot weather I often wear scarfs. May be because originally, the ancient Romans used it not to keep warm, but to keep clean ;) Such a scarf was called the sudarium that means " sweat cloth". It was used to dry the neck and face in hot weather.

Denim sundress

I have already forgotten how it is when it is very hot outside. Now it is +32C. It is so hot here that there is only one thought in my mind : I just want to jump to the water.

By the way, in spite of the warm weather I feel very comfortable in my denim sundress from Levi's. Sundress are perfect pieces for summer ;)

Somewhere, in the middle of Russia

So I am back to the motherland. Honestly, despite the fact that everything is getting worse and worse in Russia, it is still nice to be back. It is very cool to meet the family and friends, and speak to them neither English, nor Norwegian, but Russian! I just love my language ;)

P.S. one more funny and cute t-shirt:))

I live in Norway and I know that the Norwegian nature is amazing, but the nature of Russia is from my childhood, I grew up surrounded by this nature. Therefore the Russian  nature is best, at least for me :)

Sailors stripes

Striped sailor shirt is a perfect piece of clothes for summer.  And the striped sailor shirt is associated with water, sailing boat, and summer. By the way, French sailors were the first who began to wear striped shirts. In 1917 Coco Chanel introduced it to women.
I think striped sailor shirt is like a small black dress: it was, it is, and it will always be popular ;)

Strict, but feminine outfit (+some interesting facts about shirt)

I am a huge fan of male shirts. I think women in male shirts look very sexy, but at the same time very powerful. For me the shirt is a symbol of strength and power. The reason of such a perception is the history of shirt. Basically, shirt is the oldest item of clothes dating back ca. 3000 B.C.

The shirt was a piece of men's underwear until the twenties century. In the Middle Ages it was undyed piece of clothes worn next to the skin and under regular clothes. In medieval, only prisoners, shepherds and other poor people could wear the shirt as normal clothes (uncovered). In the seventeenth century, men's shirt was considered as an erotic import as visible underwear today. In the eighteenth century, men who did not wear shirts, were seen as indecent people.

European and American women began to wear shirts in 1860. The Garibalti shirt was the reason of this tendency, because the freedom fighters under Giuseppe Garibaldi worn red shirts. It was the direct ancestor of the modern women's blouse.

Another story is why a white shirt is still a symbol of status. A couple of centuries ago only rich men and men, who was not involved in manual work, could wear white shirts, because they could employ servants to launder their shirts. In twentieth century in America it was further difference between the educated, salaried professionals who worked in office and those who were involved in manual labour by using the terms: "white collar workers" and "blue collar workers".

Fortunately, today the shirt does not separate the society into 'white collar workers' and 'blue collar workers'. Everyone who likes shirt is able to wear: kids, men, women, old, young, rich, or poor. In addition, the variety is very vast, today one can find 26 types of shirt.

Green notes in outfit

I have always been afraid to buy clothes online. I have been afraid if size was wrong, quality was bad or item did not look as good as it could be in reality. However a couple weeks ago I began to use ASOS, which is one of the UK's largest online-only fashion and beauty stores.
At the beginning the main idea of the store was to sell  copies of the clothes that was worn by stars. That is why ASOS means " As Seen On Screen". The idea was so good that success came immediately.

Green skirt and necklace with green stones were bought in ASOS. This color is just perfect for spring. And honestly the quality was very good and size was accurate. I think it was not the first or the last purchase in ASOS ;)

Cartoon shirt from Iceberg

As I have previously said I really like funny and cute t-shirts and sweaters. So there is another funny piece from my wardrobe: a shirt with a cartoon pattern on from Iceberg.

I have tried to find some information about this fashion house, but unfortunately there was very little information. I know that Iceberg have its boutiques only in Italy and other seven cities: London, Paris, Moscow, Kiev, Amsterdam, Kuwait City, and Dubai. The brand was launched as an Italian luxury fashion design house in 1974. The first designed pieces were knit sportwear. Until nowadays Iceberg have offered a quite sporty look, based on the imaginative world of cartoons.  Due to the creative approach to the creation of such unique shirts and sweaters young hip-hop communities were very happy to wear shirts with different cartoons characters on. Beside hip-hop stars, Iceberg's products have been worn by, for example, Paris Hilton, Lil' Kim, and Mischa Barton.

Have a good Sunday!
